We couldn't resist the sale that babygap was having on winter jackets (plus we had a giftcard laying around), so we bought Sophie her first winter jacket. Here she is getting ready to leave for daycare. Of course she wouldn't get in the jacket until we gave her an old cell phone to play with. She looks so hip today!
Sophie had a good time with mommy, daddy, and Elle Mendel (brother Emmet Mendel not shown here, but he was also running around!) at the park.
Sophie met with "her stylist" Julie at Classic Kids Cut in San Dimas for the first time. She was a pro in the chair! She had a snack in the middle of her style cut and patiently sucked her thumb during the blowdry. She was awarded with a "First Haircut" certificate at the end of the day.

During the New Year's weekend, Sophie went down to San Juan Capistrano and spent the afternoon at Zoomar's Petting Zoo. She had a good time meeting animals, riding a train, and flying by swing!
Sophie rode her first train and then celebrated at Ruby's, where she played with a cardboard train and drank a milkshake.

Sophie had a great time opening presents and eating lunch at the Guadalupe's on Christmas day. For Christmas, she gave hula hoops to her cousins Lauren and Emily.
Sophie woke up and opened presents with Mommy, Daddy, and Ginger. She serves Christmas tea to Mommy with her new tea set.
